Группа 175R образована в 1998 году в Китакюсю, префектура Фукуока, первоначально как мелодик-хардкор группа, далее у них появились нотки ска-панка. Сначала группа состояла только из Shogo. К нему присоединились Wacchan, Kazuya и Isakick. Весной того же года 175R постепенно начинает играть в окрестностях Китакюсю вместе с известными группами. В мае 1999 года 175R приняли участие в конкурсе Kurozaki Marcus и выиграли 100 000 иен. Однако в 175R начинают возникать проблемыи в июле 1999 года Wacchan покинул группу и был заменен младшим братом Kazuya Yoshiaki. После репетиций в новом составе они участвует в новом конкурсе под названием Grooveroad Band Battle Contest, в котором они выиграли 50 000 иен. The band 175R was formed in 1998 in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, initially as a melodic hardcore band, then they got a touch of ska-punk. At first, the group consisted only of Shogo. He was joined by Wacchan, Kazuya and Isakick. In the spring of the same year, 175R gradually began playing around Kitakyushu with well-known bands. In may 1999, 175R participated in the Kurozaki Marcus competition and won 100,000 yen. In April 2003, 175R released the single Happy Life . A month later, they play at the Yoyogi Kouen festival in front of 25,000 spectators .By the end of 2006, the band had twelve singles and two albums.
In 2007, they released three singles, followed by the album Thank You for the Music. In 2009, 175R took a short break. And at the end of the year they returned with the single Refrain, and in December-with a new album.
